What started out as a get together among friends trying to cook some meat better than the other guys has turned into an annual event, community store, and scholarship opportunity for the town of Weeping Water and the surrounding area. The money raised by Be The Light is spread across two main points of interest; suicide prevention and mental health. Almost everyone can point to someone they know who has been effected by these subjects. Striving to make our friends, family, and loved ones more informed can help save a life.
